Niños de Nueva Esperanza  Fall 2021
Web Developer and Social Media Specialist Toa Baja, Puerto Rico
Collaborated with a team of seven graduate students assisting at Niños de Nueva Esperanza, a nonprofit that bridges academic,psychosocial, and extracurricular support gaps to children and youth in the Sabana Seca area of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. In this graduate-level work simulation, the team created a new website and managed all Social Media accounts.

  • Created mockups and wireframes for an online platform

  • Built a new website and organized web content with video clips and pictures

  • Developed a social media messaging strategy and created messages that were consistent in tone and design; designed graphics for use on the website and social media platforms

Biobeat Technologies  Spring/Summer 2021
iOS Developer Intern Petah Tikvah, Israel
Biobeat’s monitoring platform measures vital signs in real-time using wireless, non-invasive, medical-grade technology. During the pandemic, the need for remote viewing of a patient’s vital signs was essential to the safety of hospital staff, and Biobeat grew exponentially.

  • Identified issues and optimized opportunities in the iOS platform, fixed bugs for new features and Bluetooth connectivity, and managed communication between the application and web platforms

VOLUNTEERING

Elon Esports Fall 2019 to Spring 2022 Event Chair Elon, NC

Led a team of volunteers to complete specific tasks related to various charitable events. Manage social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram. Create marketing materials to advertise events—liaison for collaboration with clubs and sponsors.
